Wagner Act

What was the Wagner Act?
The Wagner Act was introduced in 1935. It set up the National Labour Relations Board, which gave more rights to workers who joined trade unions. It forced businesses to allow trade unions to operate, and made it illegal for businesses to sack employees who joined a union.
