Who was Robert Aske?
Robert Aske was a lawyer who led the Pilgrimage of Grace against Henry VIII's changes to the Church.
What happened to Robert Aske?
He met Henry VIII and the king listened to his demands. However, when fighting broke out again the king went back on his word and had Robert and the other leaders executed.
