Revisionists

Who were the revisionists?
The revisionists were Zionists who opposed Chaim Weizmann and David Ben Gurion. They rejected the idea of compromising with the Arabs of Palestine and believed in founding an exclusively Jewish state in Palestine.
What tactics did the Revisionists use?
The revisionists first hoped the British would support their ambitions to create a Jewish state in Palestine. When the MacDonald Report suggested a joint Jewish/Arab state, the revisionists advocated violence against the British.
