Hitler at the World Disarmament Conference

How did Hitler react to the World Disarmament Conference?
Hitler demonstrated his disdain for the League of Nations and the Versailles settlement by walking out of the World Disarmament Conference in 1933.
Why did Hitler leave the World Disarmament Conference?
Hitler walked out of the World Disarmament Conference. His excuse was that France wasn't taking disarmament seriously. By leaving, Hitler could more easily rearm as he would be free from any restrictions that the conference could have placed on Germany.
What was significant about Hitler's actions at the World Disarmament Conference?
Hitler's actions at the conference were significant as he could now begin to rebuild the German Army much more openly. This was an excellent opportunity to stop Hitler in his tracks. If Hitler had agreed to disarmament, his actions over the course of the 1930s may have been different.
