What was the Gosplan?
Gosplan was the name for the 'State Committee for Planning', which was responsible for delivering the five year plans. Gosplan set targets for factory managers and workers and ensured they were achieved.
What was achieved by the Gosplan?
5,000 new factories were created between 1928 and 1937 under the planning and supervision of the Gosplan.
