The British learned of an attack in the North Sea and sent a fleet to surprise the Germans. The Germans turned back and the British chased them. The British attacked the fleet, focusing mainly on the German cruiser, Blücher.

What were the results of the Battle of Dogger?
The British sank the German cruiser, Blücher, resulting in the deaths of 954 men. Britain didn't lose any ships, although 15 men were killed.
